You can look out over what they call the barranka, or gulch, and see the horizon. The back of the building faces east, so it would be a wonderful view of the sunrise.

Obstruction
The front door is blocked by the huge poles of a teepee, being stored here, maybe for the past 10 years or so.
Healing Center
The Kalpulli was built with intentions of being an ashram, a place where people could get away and connect with the earth, and partake in indigenous rituals and ceremonies where their bodies could be cleansed and detoxified.
Picture This
There’s an abandoned, half-finished hotel on the Kalpulli, here where Tracy lives. We explored it a little today because it’s for sale, and our imaginations were kind of activated by the thoughts of what we might do with such a space.
Collapsed Wall
You can also see our k-9 escorts here.
Adobe Structure
On our way home, we found this structure that is collapsing on one side. Tracy thinks it was used for employees who stayed here to take care of livestock at some point in the past. One wall has collapsed so that we can study the construction and materials.
Cactus
An interesting part of the landscape south of the border, though you don’t want to get too close.
Profile Picture
Cool frame, huh?
Old Friend
The Golden Tree
What a sight this old creature is. Her bark is golden, and soft to the touch. We climbed up into her, and she offered a lovely place to perch for my new profile pic.
