Movements of the Soul – Coming Soon

Dear Friends,

It’s been about 8 years since you stepped forward and generously offered to serve as early readers for my book, Being In My Body.  In case you hadn’t heard, the book has since been translated into Spanish, and it continues to find its way into the hands of people who benefit from it, and I want to thank you again for your trust, support and encouragement, and all the good energy you have reflected back to me and my creative endeavors.  Truly, a deep, deep thank you.  I could have never done it without you.

In the past couple years, I’ve been working in a new area called Systemic and Family Constellations.  So today I am contacting you to let you know that I’m planning the release of a new offering called Movements of the Soul.  It’s a 10-month course based on the work of Bert Hellinger, and will involve some theory and discussion but also plenty of time for group work.  If you want to know more, and if you want to be among this exclusive group of early readers again, please read on.  If your plate is full and/or you’re really not all that interested, just let me know.  A word from you would be awesome; I’ll take you off this list and send you my warmest blessings.

If you’re still here, there’s so much more!

Movements of the Soul will be offered over the course of 10 or so months.  Ronda Schaefer has offered as a venue her beautiful Montessori Schoolhouse on Kim School Road in Jefferson City, and the peaceful acreage around it at Peace Mountain.  This material is potent, and sometimes requires time to digest and integrate, so we may want to take more than just a month between monthly meetings.  I am thinking of it as a sort of intensive.  The kind you might imagine in the plant medicine or holotropic breathwork worlds, where people experience something very different from talk therapy – or even EMDR.  Clients might experience shifts in a weekend what they were never able to achieve in a month of weekly one-hour sessions.  We’ll meet one weekend of each month.

  • Friday Evenings will include additional participants as it will be a free (donations suggested but not required) offering to the community (for people who might not be able to partake in the course, but still want to experience the offering).
  • Saturday (10:00 am-6:00 pm) will be theory, discussion, exercises and one or possibly two client constellations.
  • Sunday (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) will be a full day of constellations.

Here is a list of topics we’ll be looking at in the course (AKA Modules):

  1. Bert Hellinger Himself/Introduction to the Ancestors
  2. Conscience and Bonding/Attachment
  3. Emotions and Dreams
  4. The Orders of Love/The Orders of Helping
  5. Human Intimacy/Raising Children
  6. Interrupted Reaching Out Reflex
  7. Victim-Perpetrator Dynamics
  8. Specifics for Therapists and Facilitators
  9. Systemic Rituals
  10. Parts Work

Of course there is a catch.  If you are an early reader of this Course Study Guide, I will be asking you to think about how I might get the word out.  No, you won’t be required to sign up for the course.  I suspect that as you read the material, you will think of friends, family members, and community leaders who may be curious to know more.  So besides giving me your real feedback (questions as well as concerns), I’ll be asking you to help me expand my network.   I’ll make this as easy as I can for you by providing things that you can pass on.  I’m always thrilled to get the random e-mail from people telling me they want to know more about Family Constellations.  In exchange, I’m happy to comp tuition to one module of your choice and even throw in a copy of the finished Study Guide, if you want it, once it’s published.

I feel in my bones that this is going to engage a whole new dialogue, a new way of working through early relational and intergenerational trauma.  It’s rich, it’s provocative, and I’m pretty sure it’s something that is going to have Mid Missourians talking for years and even generations to come.

Please send me a private message via Facebook to let me know you’d like to be an early reader.  I’m excited to start getting some feedback on this!

Big love and so much gratitude to you!

❤️ Toni
